SIAL Paris is considered, together with ANUGA (Koln), the most important trade show within the global food industry. Embutidos Carchelejo have been exhibiting in SIAL for the last 10 years.

The 2018 edition was held between 21th to 25th of october. This event is one of the longest shows of the food industry.

This year edition has broken all the records: 7.000 exhibitors coming from 119 different countries, being 3 out of 4 foreigner visitors. This data give us an idea of the interantional scope of this show.

Our stand was located in the hall of the meat products, within the Spain’s área, represented by ICEX. Like in past editions, we were placed in the área of Andalucia, taking part in the Extenda’s stand.

All the exhibition days we offered a product tasting. Visitors were interested both in the traditional charcuterie line and in the Halal charcuterie line.

We also met with potential clients coming from diferent countires. Moreover, we took this opportunity to strengthen business relationship with some of our existing clients.
