One of our long-term business strategies is to develop and strengthen our Halal line. In turn, we have carried out some important investments on facilities and machinery. We strive to be present on those International markets where Halal food is key.
After some years, in 2019 we decided to be exhibitors at Gulfood (Dubai, UAE), which is the largest trade show of the food industry in the Middle East.
More than 5.000 exhibitors coming from more than 200 countries as well as more than 100.000 visitors. These are some figures of the 2019 edition, so we can state that this event in clearly one of the most important for the food industry.
Being there, we noticed that a majority of visitors come from Middle East countries and its surrounding área. So, we believe that this show is really suitable for companies looking to enter on this region.
In Gulfood we only exhibited our Halal line and we present ourselves as “Halal charcuterie” producers.
We got a very possitive feedback from visitors during our daily tastings, who found really interesting the fact that we make our Halal charcuterie from poultry meat (specially turkey), since most common Halal charcuterie is made of beef.
In conlussion, it was a great experience that we very likely repeat in the near future.
